FAQs

Q. How do I know if I need an exterminator?
A.

Even if you have only a slight visible pest problem, there is a good chance that there are more pests lurking in and around your home. Treating a pest problem early helps to ensure that your problem doesn’t escalate into an emergency.

Q. Do you guarantee your work?
A.

In most treatment processes, yes we do. However some pest due to their biology cannot be guaranteed like bedbugs and boxelder bugs. Always talk with one of our friendly service person about our services.

Q. How long will I need to leave my home?
A.

The length of time depends upon the type of pest and the action taken. Some procedures don’t require the residents to leave their home, while others require you to leave for up to 3 hours. If we are using baits you will not have to leave. However, if we are spraying or fogging you will have to be out of the house for at least 2 to 4 hours.

We will make available to you a preparation sheet specific to your pest so that you can be better prepared for the appointment. We want your appointment to go as smooth and as quick as possible while effectively eliminating your pest.

Q. Should I be home when the service technician arrives?
A.

If we need to treat inside arrangements need to be made for access. We will NOT go in if only a child is present, an adult has to be present.

Q. What should I do with my pets and/or small children before, during and after application?
A.

All pets and people need to be out of the treated areas until products have dried. Normally 2-4 hours. Always cover up or remove food dishes, water bowls and toys.

Q. Do I need to be home for you to treat an outdoor problem?
A.

Not necessarily, however each situation is different.

Q. Can you work in the rain?
A.

Yes, in the winter and during the rainy months we use a granulated insecticide that works with the moisture to break down.

Q. Where did these things come from? How can I prevent them from showing up in the future?
A.

Yes, our tree pest removal is targeted inside the tree so that it effects just the offending insect leaving beneficial insects and other creatures clear from the treatment. Unfortunately because of the many variables surrounding tree treatment it is not possible to provide an accurate price quote prior to an actual on site inspection of the effected tree.
